In the years preceding WW I, his writing career
took him around the globe, where he personally experienced the many cultures of
the world. Upon his return to Europe in 1914
he took up residence in London, when World War I broke out. On account
of his German citizenship, he was interned on the Isle of Man until 1919. Under these conditions, Abd-ru-shin gradually
became aware that he was to deliver to mankind the immense Knowledge, which
contains explanations of the Laws of Creation governing human
destiny. He returned to Germany
and in 1923 began writing his life's work "IN THE LIGHT OF TRUTH: THE
GRAIL MESSAGE" ("IM LICHTE DER WAHRHEIT: GRALSBOTSCHAFT"), later settling in
Vomperberg (a mountainous region in Tyrol, Austria), where he continued to
write. His book is intended for serious seekers only, as it challenges them and
shakes them to the very depth of their being.
When the Nazis invaded Austria on March 12, 1938,
Abd-ru-shin was arrested on the very same day. His property was confiscated, he
was forbidden any further publication of his Grail Message and for several years
he was kept under house arrest by the Gestapo. As a consequence of these
measures, Abd-ru-shin departed this earth prematurely on December 6, 1941. "IN
THE LIGHT OF TRUTH: THE GRAIL MESSAGE" is his legacy to mankind, in
which all serious seekers can discover for themselves the actual
origin and identity of Abd-ru-shin's
personality.
